Snow path goes to the south, while La Crosse gets a little

Okay, where did the snow go?

On Tuesday, La Crosse weather forecasters were predicting anywhere from 3 to 8 inches of new snow for the city, from a storm headed our way.

But the experts say the storm kept well to the south of La Crosse.

Platteville and Lancaster have both received at least 5 inches of new snow.

Only 1 inch of snow reported in La Crosse.

Over the next three days, into Saturday morning, La Crosse could get another inch of snow, as colder temperatures move in.

The city has had only 11 inches of snow all season, which is half of what we normally would get by late January.
