Westby resident makes threats during La Crosse arrest

A woman who was being picked up in La Crosse for driving drunk is accused of making two threats to kill an officer who was arresting her.

Antoinique Long of Westby is being charged with attempted battery to a female law officer, and with spitting at the police woman.

Long is not being charged yet with OWI.

She was stopped on South Avenue Friday afternoon, on suspicion of drunk driving and operating a stolen vehicle.

The 41-year-old Long tried to kick and bite officers before spitting on the one officer.

That officer says Long wanted to kill her, and would have a dream about putting a bullet in her head.

Long was released from jail on a signature bond.
