Kloppenburg stands by critical ads in Supreme Court race
Ads criticize two other candidates
Commercials run by one Supreme Court candidate in Wisconsin have attempted to link her two opponents politically.
Appeals Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg stands by her ads that criticize Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley for ties to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
The ads also criticize Judge Joe Donald for backing Bradley when she was appointed to lower levels of court.
Speaking at Jule’s Coffee House in La Crosse yesterday, Kloppenburg said Donald is not independent.
“Just last year, allowing her to use his name as a reference for her application to the court of appeals to Gov. Walker,” she said. “He also, we’ve found out today, his name appears on the list of people who endorsed Justice Prosser in the 2011 campaign.
