Owner trying to find jobs for his employees

When it’s time to go, it’s time to go.

Apparently the case at Edwardo’s restaurant in La Crosse, which closed suddenly Saturday after 55 years.

Owned for the last six years by Tod Edwards, son of the original owners, he said the restaurant has been busy and doing fine financially.

“It’s time and I decided just to close it to not have to go through speaking to so many people about closing it,” Edwards said. “It’s an emotional time for me.”

Edwards says he’s currently working to find jobs for all of the employees who were at the northside restaurant when it closed.

He’s had several calls from local restaurants already and has no doubt all of his employees will find new jobs quickly.
