That cost is to design an additional
two floors for a La Crosse parking ramp

A big dollar amount for designing two floors of parking space isn’t enough to make a La Crosse city council committee blink.

The council’s finance committee agreed Thursday night to fund what could be $600,000 worth of design work to add two levels to the Riverside Parking ramp downtown.

Cost to actually add the floors could wind up being as high as $7 million. The full council votes on funding the design work at a meeting next week.
