No Labels finds no path

Published

on

So much for putting a dent in our country’s two-party system of politics. A group called No Labels had hoped to field a candidate in this year’s presidential election, but has abandoned the effort. No Labels has formally withdrawn its petition to appear on Wisconsin’s November presidential ballot. That is not a surprise, given the group a month ago gave up on trying to find someone to run for President on the No Label party ticket. But it is unfortunate. It isn’t clear this group was best suited to put an end to Republican and Democratic rule in our political system, but at least it would have given us another choice. Apparently if you don’t have a “D” or an “R” in front of your name, you can’t become President in this country. Sure, you can vote for the likes of Robert Kennedy Jr. but he is telling tales of worms eating part of his brain and dying inside his body. There are other choices too, like Libertarian and Green Party candidate, but they have no hope of actually winning. Hopefully the failure of the No Labels party doesn’t spoil future hopes of getting a third viable candidate on our presidential ballots.

As expected, we are stuck with two liars that are totally unfit for the office. We, the American people, are at fault.
We need to start caring about who we elect and not about a party label.

Not buying it. Republicans have been back stabbed for decades by Bushes, McConnell, Ryan, McCain, Romney and now Speaker Johnson, et al, all the while the country circles the drain.

Biden is the worse president on record.

President Trump will do just fine. Thank you.

Trump like Biden is totally unfit for the office.
I have never nor will I in the future drink the coolade.
I go after anyone who deserves it. Unfortunately for us, most of them do.
The only person who should be the next president is Nikki Haley.
She understands how dangerous this world has become.
