Turkey handlers Being Monitored

Highly pathogenic H5N2 avian flu has struck turkeys on four more Minnesota farms plus one in South Dakota in an outbreak that has now affected more than 1.7 million Minnesota birds.
 
Joni Scheftel, with the Minnesota Department of Health says their role has nothing to do with the turkeys…..but with the handlers of the Thanksgiving birds themselves.
 
 
Massive outbreaks are not just occuring in Minnesota who leads the nation in turkey production, but also in Wisconsin, North and South Dakota.
