The fatal shooting of 18 year old Michael Brown by a police officer in
MIssouri has led to the creation of online petitions for officers to wear body cameras. Petitions on Change.org and a White House website have called for a law that would require police to wear body cameras. At the time of the shooting, Ferguson police had no cameras near the incident. We asked State Rep. Steve Doyle if this has been discussed in our area.
Doyle says the City of Madison has already done a study on the cameras and cost issues would be the number issue that would need studied.
