City Brewery union workers in La Crosse prepare for possibility of strike at end of contract
Six months after Old Style returned to the “world’s largest six pack” at City Brewery in La Crosse, union workers cast votes this week on the possibility of a spring strike.
Votes were taken on Wednesday and Thursday at the La Crosse American Legion near the brewery.
There are about 485 union workers at City Brewery, represented by Teamsters Local 695.
The union has not responded yet to a message left by WIZM News. A City Brewery spokeswoman tells us negotiations on a new contract are continuing. The current contract with the Teamsters ends in May.
