Officers found Fredrickson dead inside the house Thursday night. He had multiple gunshot wounds.

Alan Fry was charged with 1st degree murder in that shooting, which allegedly followed an argument between him and Fredrickson.

The 41-year-old Fry is also accused of setting a house on fire the same night.

Police say the investigation is still active. They’re asking citizens to contact Crime Stoppers with any information they have about the case.

Fry is jailed in La Crosse with bond set at $750,000 cash. He has an evidence hearing set for Jan. 31.
