Drug distribution bust in La Crosse leads to three arrests

According to La Crosse Police, several law enforcement agencies broke up a drug operation in La Crosse, arresting three men for allegedly distributing cocaine and fentanyl.

La Crosse police said Louis Ray was the main drug dealer, assisted by Dante Ray, Jr., and Timothy Cannon.

Investigators seized fentanyl and vehicles, while carrying out search warrants Thursday.

Cannon faces seven criminal charges, while Louis Ray is accused of five counts and Dante Ray is suspected of three charges.

The search that included multiple buildings and five vehicles.

A police informant reportedly bought cocaine from one suspect, prior to the arrests.

Authorities said they were able to seize 43 grams of fentanyl and at least 100 grams of cocaine, along with three vehicles.

State and federal agencies worked with law enforcement from three counties on the case.

Louis Ray and Cannon are being held in the La Crosse County jail. More court hearings are expected next week.

The suspects range in age from 23 to 46.
