Even with four new members sworn in, it didn’t take the nine-member La Crosse School Board long to get re-organized on Monday night, after this month’s elections.

The four winners of the April 4th race were sworn in on Monday.  They are Scott Neumeister, Trevor Sprague, Jeff Jackson, and, returning after a few years away from the board, Deb Suchla.

The board unanimously elected Annie Baumann as its new president, succeeding Juan Jimenez, who had been president for the past two years. Jimenez will serve as treasurer this year.

Also chosen for board offices were Brad Quarberg, continuing as vice president for another year, and Merideth Garcia elected as board clerk. The elections were unanimous.

The open board meeting only lasted about 20 minutes, after which the board met privately to brief the new members on school district procedures.
