Tiffany Smith and Marty Wallesar run Hatchery, LLC, the group that wants to rent the old Fish Hatchery building on the north end of Riverside Park.

Hatchery, LLC, said it wants to invest $1 million in creating an events venue, which would match the city’s $1 million in renovations.

Smith and Wallesar discuss their ideas for the building Tuesday on La Crosse Talk PM.

They also hear comedian Charlie Berens’ ideas on the building. Not part of the conversation was whether or not Hatchery LLC would be on board for having Hatched Baby go in place of the Hiawatha Statue at the riverfront, however.
