Trempealeau County has gotten some of the worst area flooding this year, as winter makes way for spring.

On Monday, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers toured flooded locations in Arcadia, Dodge and Centerville. He also spoke with local residents.

At the Trempealeau Town Hall in Centerville, town chair Rick Nimitz asked the governor to help provide for homeowners, who have been hit by floods twice since the summer of 2017.

Wisconsin Emergency Management administrator Brian Satula also attended, and said the state is likely to examine areas where the flooding is frequent.
