The last time John Climer was charged with driving drunk, the Black River Falls man was put on probation for two years.

Climer could face a much harsher sentence after his latest OWI arrest in Jackson County — the seventh on his record.

The 54-year-old crashed into a tree along Highway 54 last Thursday.

Besides operating while drunk, Climer also faces charges from this accident of failing to keep his car under control and driving left of center.
