Onalaska man agrees to plea, dismissing attempted murder charge

An 18-year-old Onalaska man pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment for hitting a house on State St. with gunfire last year. 

Ramon Washington reached a plea on three charges, while four other criminal counts, including attempted murder, were dismissed. 

Washington was charged with trying to shoot Passion Thompson over a social media feud. He fired at the house, in which a bullet broke a window.

Passion Thompson, who is is also accused of making threats against Washington, was with her daughter Monica Thompson, outside their home last April.

Meanwhile, Monica Thompson still faces charges of allegedly threatening to kill Washington, as well.

Washington is already sentenced to prison for a robbery in Vernon County. He could get about nine years in prison for the shooting, when he’s sentenced in March.
