City aviation board reviews new incentive plan this week

What would it take to get more airlines to fly in and out of La Crosse, or to add more flights to the local schedule?

Some new financial incentives could be offered to airlines by the La Crosse Airport, if the aviation board approves changes at its meeting on Monday.

To qualify for the incentives, such as discounts on certain fees, an airline would have to offer the new service between May of this year and the end of next year.

Only Delta and American Airlines offer flights now in La Crosse.
