Only a few veterans showed up to meeting

TOMAH, Wis. – It’s been almost a year since the Tomah VA was under national scrutiny. Today, still, the facility is working to regain the trust of the public, patients, and employees.

Part of that effort involves getting the management out to meet area veterans and acting hospital director Victoria Brahm came to La Crosse Tuesday evening for that purpose.

Brahm led a brief town hall meeting at Viterbo University, which only attracted a few veterans. She said comments and complaints about services for veterans are going straight up the chain of command in the agency.
