Medicaid money could help those in county jail, says La Crosse supervisor

Public opinion on federal health care laws has shifted recently, since a second Supreme Court decision upholding Obamacare.

Robert Kraig from Citizen Action of Wisconsin says even people who have doubts about the Affordable Care Act want politicians to stop talking about repealing the law.

In the Badger State, there’s an effort to get the legislature to accept federal Medicaid money that Governor Scott Walker opposes.

La Crosse County supervisor Vicki Burke says Obamacare can help people in the county jail system get good health care. Burke claims provisions of Obamacare can help people convicted of crimes to get therapy for alcohol and drug use.
