Billings Elated After Obamacare Ruling
A Supreme Court ruling supporting the Affordable Care Act hasn’t changed much of anything. Democrats still like the plan, and Republicans still want to get rid of it. Among the elected Democrats who’s pleased by the court’s decision is La Crosse lawmaker Jill Billings who believes the decision gives a sense of surety to those who get their insurance through federal exchanges and benefit from subsidies.
Billings believes that about 16-hundred people in her Assembly district are signed up for Obamacare. She accuses Governor Scott Walker of continuing to oppose the health care plan as part of his campaign to run for president.
