La Crosse Prepares For Half Marathon Saturday
The longest foot race of the year in La Crosse is set for this Saturday. About 12 hundred runners are signed up for the Grandad Half-Marathon…about the same number as last year, according to even coordinator Emily Sturomski. And dozens of two-person teams even have registered for the half-marathon relay…which is basically two quarter-marathons:
Bike races and a 5-K run-walk are also included in the weekend’s activities.
