Davids Votes For Flood Bill
On Monday, the Minnesota House voted 132-0 in favor of a disaster relief
package, which will leverage federal emergency funds to pay for infrastructure damage cause by last June’s severe weather. Representative Greg Davids spoke on the House floor in favor of the bill, noting that his home counties of Houston and Fillmore have had more than their share of natural disasters over the years.
Look for the governor to sign the bill this week.
