Big Hopes for Bus Service in La Crosse
Another year of booming public transportation use across the US is expected this year. In La Crosse, mayor Tim Kabat has big plans for the bus service for this year and beyond
This year, the city plans on adding a new bus route between the UWL campus and downtown. That will be a constantly circulating route with a bus coming every ten minutes. Kabat believes some bus service enhancements like that could double or triple bus ridership in the city in just a few years.
