Not Cowbell. Too Much Whistle

Last month, the Village of Bangor ended a trial to stop a long time non
emergency siren from stop blowing due to complaints after only nine days. Town Administrator, Shelly Miller says the town has a fix for that problem.
The lone siren has blasted at least four times a day every day for as long as anyone can remember. The referendum is only advisory, meaning the vote will give the town board more direction as to what do with the siren.
