Gundersen Tops For Energy Nationwide
A major announcement at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse this morning.
Dr. Jeff Thompson, Gundersen CEO says that back in 2008 they set a goal for the organization to control rising energy costs and improve the health of the communities it serves. They focused on two main initiatives…..reducing consumption by improving efficiency and creating cleaner energy. And they have done both…a first in the nation for a health care system.
