Ft. McCoy Prepares For New Homes
Several houses at Fort McCoy have wood in them that’s 100 years old. Life
span of those homes….6 years. And their still standing. But Linda Fournier says the Army doesn’t want to guess for how much longer and that’s one reason $22 million in new homes will be built soon.
42 new units just approved to be built will be single Family ranch-style homes. The full timetable on when the first units will be completed still is being determined, however, ground infrastructure work could begin as soon as this fall.
