Airline Safety Questioned
European airlines have been told they can consider flying again to Tel Aviv
airport in Israel. The decision follows a similar one earlier on Thursday, in which the US lifted its ban on US carriers flying there. The Federal Aviation Administration had first imposed its ban on Tuesday after a rocket fired from the Gaza strip landed about a mile from the airport.Dave Friedman with Hobbit Travel in La Crosse says he’s kept a watchful eye on these events as he has people booking vacations to these areas of the world.
He says add on the fact that four air crashes in recent months have cast a shadow following a record year for air safety in an industry that has invested heavily on crew training and modern equipment. No cancellations at Hobbit Travel yet.
