Money Collected for Utility, Spent on Utility

La Crosse city hall has been collecting extra millions of dollars for months.  And spending it just as fast.  The stormwater utility has a revenue stream of more than two million dollars per year.  The first year and a half or so has already funded a few projects, says public works director Dale Hexom.  Including some projects to reduce flooding in certain areas.  Building and dredging of retention ponds.  Maintenance on other storm water projects

Hexom says the stormwater utility revnue only goes to fund storm water projects and is never folded into the general budget for the city.
