June Trial Set For Suspect In Fatal Kwik Trip Fight
La Crosse’s next major murder trial is set for early next summer…
Mitrel Anderson goes on trial in early June for first-degree murder in the death of DeMario Lee. The week-long trial is scheduled to start June 9th…just days after the first anniversary of the murder at a Cass Street convenience store. Investigators believe Anderson killed Lee by hitting him in the head with an edged weapon during a fight. Anderson remains in the La Crosse County jail, under a million dollar cash bond.
