Copeland Park Recieves Huge Donation
A major donation to La Crosse’s Copeland Park this week. Barb and Dave
Skogen, founders of Festival Foods, have agreed to donate $300 thousand in support of facility improvements at Copeland Park. And that, according to Loggers GM Chris Goodell, means new turf to the field.
Goodell says the new playing surface is the first, and most significant, of several facility improvements at Copeland Park planned by the Loggers and UW-La Crosse, pending final approval of their respective use agreements with the City of La Crosse. Installation could come as early as next month.
