Kitzmann Versus Town Update

Published

on

A judge says the town of Onalaska has to pay their former administrator.  Now both sides are trying to work out how much compensation is owed to Paul Kitzmann.  The town claimed they had to let Kitzmann go in July due to budget problems.  A judge ruled that wasn’t a good enough reason to fire their administrator.  Kitzmann’s three year contract wasn’t set to expire until January of 2012.  His salary was 50 grand a year.  The towns attorney hopes to have something worked out before the next court date which is scheduled for May.  The town cannot appeal the judge’s original decision until compensation is determined.
