INDIAN LOGO DEBATE

The Wisconsin Assembly could vote tomorrow on a new bill to let the state crack down on school districts using race-based logos or nicknames.  The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau district reviewed its “Redmen” logo last year.  But Superintendent Troy Gunderson says no action was taken, because the board knew that a logo bill was coming before the Legislature.
