8 tornadoes spawned during June 25 storms

The National Weather Service said that the storm system that moved through the region on Wednesday, June 25 created eight tornadoes.

Data from the storms was released Friday evening.

Five of the tornadoes occurred in Minnesota, two in Wisconsin, and one in Iowa.

EF0 tornadoes are classified on the Enhanced Fujita (EF) Scale as a weak tornado. Wind speeds fall in a range of 65-85 mph.

EF1 tornadoes are classified as a moderate tornado with wind speeds between 86-110 mph.
