UPDATE: Heavy rains resulting in flooding along Black, La Crosse rivers

Flood warnings are out on two area rivers due to the large amount of rain received in the past few days.
La Crosse River
The National Weather Service said that five inches of rain fell between Monday and Friday morning
Because of that, they’ve issued the Flood Warning for the La Crosse River and its tributaries from now through Sunday at 6 a.m.
They said as of early Friday afternoon, flood waters are moving downstream from Monroe County and move into La Crosse County in the next few days.
The warning said flooding was already happening in low-lying or flood-prone areas or begin to flood soon.
Some of the locations affected are Bangor, Rockland, Lake Neshonoc, West Salem, Veterans Memorial Park, Onalaska, and the north side of La Crosse.
The river enters the Mississippi River just north of Riverside Park.
Black River
A Flood Warning will go into effect starting Friday evening through late Saturday morning for the Black River at Black River Falls.
Minor flooding is forecast.
The weather service said the bank full stage is 43 feet.
As of Friday morning at 10 a.m., the river was at 45.3 feet.
Flood Stage is 47 feet.
The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon. It will crest at 47.4 feet later on Friday evening.
