The victim of a motorcycle crash earlier this month in Vernon County has died of his injuries.

Hillsboro Police Chief Patrick Clark said that Vincent Larsen, 46, of Iola, Wisconsin, passed away after he was injured on June 14.

That evening around 10:35 p.m., a police officer saw a motorcycle come into Hillsboro. The officer clocked the motorcycle on radar at 74 mph.

He gave chase but lost the motorcycle as it sped into Hillsboro.

A few minutes later, the officer found the motorcycle crashed near the parking lot of Emplify St. Joseph’s Hospital Emergency Room. Larsen was unresponsive.
