It didn’t take long for the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office to recover stolen tools and arrest a De Soto woman on burglary and theft charges.

The sheriff’s office said a rural De Soto resident called authorities around 9 a.m. Friday morning about the missing tools.

At around 11, a deputy arrested Jourdan LeAnn Womack for a probation violation.

Evidence was later found that implicated Womack in the burglary.

By 2:30 p.m. they had recovered the missing tools.

Womack is expected to appear in Vernon County Court later today for a bail hearing.

She’s also facing possible charges for violating her probation for an arrest on drug charges last month in Crawford County.
