Salvation Army food distribution happens Friday afternoon

The Salvation Army of La Crosse and the Hunger Task Force hold their monthly food distribution event Friday afternoon.

It takes place at the Salvation Army warehouse at 434 Nelson Place in La Crosse from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The distribution is for families in need of food assistance. It is open to the public. An ID is required for everyone in the family.

The monthly food distribution takes place the third Friday of every month.
