This guy looks like exactly what the democrat party doesn’t need to win elections.

Are you saying that Ivan Garcia would better exemplify the Party?

So sick of reading ‘career in politics’… I wasn’t able to find a LinkedIn for Devin Remiker but the article makes it sound like he graduated and went straight into politics. Will there ever be representation from people that have real jobs in the real world…?

The founding fathers of our country never meant for political office to be converted into a life long career. The plan was for individual citizens to have freedom to do what they wished as long as exercising those freedoms did not interfere with the freedom of others. They could engage in commerce, barter, worship, and engage in free enterprise (The real jobs that Dylan references) without the King confiscating the fruits of their labor. If one chose to serve in political office it was to be part time and temporary. We are so used to politics as a career and so use to being taxed exorbitant amounts it has become a nonissue for many. That is, we bend over and take it. The withholding system is another sneaky way government takes the fruits of our labor. Your employer sends it into the government first because you can’t miss that which you never received. Then we are happy and elated when the government hands back a small portion as a tax refund. We swallow it hook line and sinker.
