Steve Nicolai previews Saturday’s Stone Temple Pilots concert in West Salem

Steve Nicolai, owner of the Maple Grove Venues in West Salem, joins to preview the Stone Temple Pilots coming Saturday night.

In talking with Nicolai, he paints a picture of MGV as a backyard BBQ and Stone Temple Pilots just happens to be the band playing, while we’re all grilling out, drinking and having a good time.

Two bands will precede Stone Temple Pilots — Unlikely Candidates and Black Stone Cherry. Tickets can purchased at MGVRockConcerts.com. There are general admission tickets available, as well as a few VIP ones left. 

Nicolai also noted people will be able to go indoors, where there are tables and chairs set up to eat and mingle, plus modern bathrooms to use. 

The Maple Grove Venues aren’t just a place for concerts. They can also be booked for weddings, fundraisers or other parties. MGV also hosts multiple cross country running and skiing races.
