Ferryville man hurt in motorcycle crash

A 67-year-old Ferryville man is hurt when he loses control of his motorcycle and crashes Wednesday afternoon south of Lynxville.

Crawford County Sheriff Dale McCullick said Donald Lathrop was riding along Highway 35 by Leitner Hollow Road around 4:15 p.m. when the crash happened.

First Responders and the fire department from Seneca came to the scene.

Lathrop had life threatening injuries. He wasn’t wearing a helmet while riding the sheriff’s office said.

Also assisting at the scene was GundersenAir and Gundersen Ambulance.

The crash is under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
