As Monday gets underway, so do several road projects-either continuing or just starting-in La Crosse County.

The Highway Department has work planned at three locations that will slow drivers or force them to take a detour.

Reconstruction of County Highway B betweenI-90 and CTH J resumes on Monday. They caution that the work zone is down to one lane and to watch for flaggers guiding traffic.

On County Highway M in Barre Mills, crews start work on the Russlan Coulee Creek Bridge replacement. Vehicles can use the bypass bridge. The replacement work finishes in August.

Also on County M, a different section of the road is closed from Monday, June 16 to Friday June 20 for a culvert replacement. A detour takes drivers on County D and back to County M.

Culvert replacement continues on County JB through Thursday, June 12. The road is closed daily from 7:30 a.m to 3 p.m. due to the work.
