Roderique retiring from Piggy’s at end of the month

The owner and chef of Piggy’s Restaurant is retiring.

Chris Roderique ends a 46-year career in the culinary industry.

He’s best known for Piggy’s Restaurant which he’s owned since 2001.

A statement announcing his retirement estimates that Piggy’s has served an estimated 2.5 million guests since he first took over the restaurant.

Roderique also owns Uno Venti Pizzeria next door to Piggy’s.

Outside of the restaurants, he’s volunteered time in the community and helped inspire young people to enter the culinary world.

The release said that the two restaurants are both continuing under the management teams currently working at both locations.
