La Crosse resident, accused of shielding shooting suspect, faces multiple charges

A 27-year-old La Crosse woman possibly connected to a local shooting last month will be assigned a public defender, while she faces new charges.

Tea Fink has a court hearing Thursday for aiding and harboring Diontae Booth, helping him to avoid arrest, after an he appeared to have shot a woman in the face with a shotgun.
Last week, a judge set a cash bond of $1 million for Booth, who had been sought by police for two weeks after the Rose Street shooting.
Booth faces charges, including attempted first degree intentional homicide, for the May 15th shooting of an ex-girlfriend.
The two fought over a gun Booth had hidden at the victim’s aunt’s residence. He’s scheduled for another court hearing Friday.
Fink also faces drug charges dating back to March, where she is suspected of possessing fentanyl and other drug-related items.
