New La Crosse County road projects start Monday

More road construction projects get started Monday morning in La Crosse County.

A portion of County Highway M is closed until Thursday near the south end of Highway 14/61.

The county is replacing the culvert that runs under the road.

During that time, the detour signs direct vehicles to County YY.

Crews also begin work on City Loop Road in West Salem.

The west entrance to Kwik Trip is open while the work is underway.

The project is expected to last until July 7.

A detour is set up on County Highways C, M, and B to avoid semi traffic traveling through the village’s downtown area.

Lastly, work is wrapping up on County Highway JB north of Highway 33 for culvert replacements. The road is closed from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until the work is completed.
