Air Quality Advisory for Wisconsin today due to wildfire smoke

Smoke from Canadian wildfires is the cause behind an Air Quality Advisory for Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin DNR advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Air quality four the area is expected to move into the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups level during this time. What that means is that some people may experience health effects, such as individuals with asthma. The general public isn’t likely to be affected.
The advisory said that areas in the Mississippi River Valley have the best chance to remain at this level.
The DNR has recommendations for people who fall into the sensitive group.
Make any outdoor activities shorter and less intense. Take more breaks during those activities. Be alert for symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath. For people with asthma, keep your inhaler close by. Those with heart disease symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, or unusual fatigue may indicate a problem that should be seen by a healthcare professional.
It is possible that some parts of the state face the potential for reach the next level, Unhealthy, in some parts of the state. If this occurs, more of the general public may experience health effects. People in the sensitive group may have more serious health effects.
Beginning Friday evening, the DNR said a weather front starts to move into the northeast part of the state. This should begin clearing the air from northeast to southwest. It will push the smoke further south and west.
Depending on how the front moves, the DNR could issue another Air Quality Advisory for Saturday for the western parts of the state if particle levels remain high.
