La Crosse School superintendent, Dr. Aaron Engel, joined WIZM’s La Crosse Talk on Tuesday to discuss how the district did with graduation and where those students are headed.

La Crosse Talk airs weekdays at 6-8 a.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk wherever you get your podcasts.

Both Logan and Central high schools held graduation ceremonies. This would be the first class that was not in high school during the pandemic, and Engel also talked about how that has affected students.

We also hit on whether graduation rates have fluctuated and where students are headed for the most part after graduating.

Have graduation rates fluctuated? Where are students heading? Class of 2025 was Sophomores during the Pandemic. Class of 2026 was in 8th grade during the Pandemic, so they were the first to not be in highschool during it.
