Yard Waste and Brush Site in La Crosse closing for holiday

A reminder to La Crosse residents that the city’s yard waste and brush site on Isle La Plume is closed for the Memorial Day weekend.  

It isn’t open Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26.  

There won’t be any access to the compost or wood chip piles those days as well.  

The site reopens on Tuesday, May 27 for regular hours.  

Here are the normal hours of operation.  

-Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

-Monday and Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  

-Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: Closed
