La Crosse Police looking for suspect in shooting

A shooting on the south side of La Crosse late Thursday morning leaves one person injured and police after the person with the gun.
It happened around 11:28 a.m. in the 900 block of 5th Avenue South according to the La Crosse Police Department.
Officers on the scene found out that the victim had already gone to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The department said they believe it is an isolated and targeted incident.
Investigators identified Diontae D. Booth, 28, as a person of interest in the shooting.
Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.

The department said more information would be release more information when they’re able as it is an active investigation.

Why even bother looking? Like what are the judges going to do? They will just let him out on bond anyway. Have a good police force but a weak judicial system. Makes a tough day to arrest someone and only to see them out the next day because of lax judges.
