UPDATE: La Crescent Police find missing runaway

La Crescent Police said that they’ve found Jordan Provo. She is in protective custody.

No other information from the department was released.


The La Crescent Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a missing and endangered teen who left home on Thursday evening.

Police issued the request as they look for 15-year-old Jordan Jade Provo, also known as “Kai”.

The department made the request for public assistance on Friday morning.

She was last seen during the evening of May 8 when she left her home on foot from the 400 block of South Third Street in La Crescent.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension also issued a missing/runaway juvenile alert for Provo.

Her description:

She is 5 feet high, weighs 100 lbs., has brown/red hair, and blue eyes.

Provo was last seen wearing blue jeans with beads and a gray tank top.

Anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be should call the La Crescent Police Department at 507-895-4414.
