La Crosse Talk airs weekdays at 6-8 a.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk wherever you get your podcasts.
Martinez is officially co-president of the La Crosse Education Association, which is currently going through elections for its leadership positions. He is not seeking a fourth term, and notes there is only one candidate running for LEA president, and that’s his counterparty, current co-president Jill Schams.
Also, with the La Crosse School Board electing a new president Monday, Martinez also talks about LEA’s relationship there. We also chatted a bit about LEA’s relationship with the new mayor of La Crosse.
